We’re back! We’ve been away for a little while, but the wait is over, and to celebrate our return we’re catching up on ALL of your feedback! We work our way through an entire summer’s worth of comments and emails, and there are plenty of conversations and debates to be had. This New ‘Incredibles 2’ Short Film Is About Edna and Jack Jack

Yesterday on Twitter, Incredibles 2 director Brad Bird teased the release of a new short film that will reveal what took place the night Edna Mode babysat Jack Jack.

Fans of the movie should remember about midway through the film, a weary Mr. Incredible handed Jack Jack off to an unassuming Edna Mode for a night off, only to find both characters in transformed spirits the morning after. So…what happened?

The Mission: Impossible Series – Anyway, That’s All I Got!

With the recent release of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, we here at ATAIG thought it would be the perfect opportunity to trace the lineage of the series—from 1996 to 2018—and try to figure out how and why this franchise has managed to keep going strong. We talk about the ones that worked (five of them), the one that didn’t quite work, all of the crazy stunts, and all of the insanely complicated storylines over the years. Cinemaholics Review: Incredibles 2

Special guest Skyler Shuler of The DCast joins the show this week to discuss Incredibles 2, the 20th Pixar film and sequel to Brad Bird’s original 2004 animated hit, The Incredibles. Well, Brad Bird is back again, and Incredibles 2 is already breaking box office records.

We began the episode with some quick Off-Topics, including news of John Lasseter’s official departure from Pixar and Disney at the end of 2018. If you’re interested in hearing about Bao, the new short film attached to Incredibles 2, you’ll hear our thoughts on that as well. ‘Iron Giant’ Is Being Rereleased With Two New Scenes

Brad Bird — the director of the 1999 animated cult classic, The Iron Giant — announced today via Twitter that the aforementioned film will be rereleased as “The Signature Edition” in select screenings between September and October of this year.

The kicker? The film is now 10 minutes longer with never-before-seen material. It’s essentially a director’s cut with two new scenes.
