AKA The One Where Bridget and Maria Become Best Friends and Talk About LIFE. The boys took a week off from the podcast, which left Bridget and Maria to bond extensively over their love and hate for the new sci-fi movie Life – directed by Daniel Espinosa. Bridget brings up some Would You Rather questions and geeks out hard over Calvin the Alien, and Maria masterfully manipulated Bridget into liking her more than Sam.

With Bridget off duty this week, the lovely Jenny Pan joins us all the way from Canada to talk about the Oscars Fail, Logan and a quick round of Would you Rather? We also discuss Disney’s announcement of Lefou’s sexual orientation in the Beauty and the Beast remake. If that weren’t enough, Sam comments on your comments as some of his impersonations.
Question of the Week: Does it matter at all if the Academy messed up? What do you think of the whole ‘first LGBT character’ in a Disney movie?
This week on Now Conspiring, the gang reviews Netflix shows that we’ve been watching and we throw in some quick reviews for La La Land and Hell or High Water. We also decided to change things up even more this week and replace “Show & Tell” with a little “Would You Rather?”
