20 most anticipated 2015 movies

This week on Now Conspiring, Maria and I start off the new year by highlighting which movies we’re looking forward to the most in 2015. We even have a list of movies that aren’t sequels, reboots, or adaptations!

PLUS we talk about the worst movies of 2014 that have been nominated for a Razzie. We share our thoughts on The InterviewInto the Woods and Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. And finally, we talk about the new movies coming out this weekend that you might want to check out.

Question of the Week:

Which movies are you most excited to see in 2015?

      1. To be honest, I wasn’t that excited about Inside Out until the preview came out. I thought that it looked kind of stupid and might just turn out to be an o.k. movie. After the preview came out I saw that the idea wasn’t bad after all. I was relieved to see that the movie would be humorous and that we’d see inside more than one character’s head.

I guess I’m more excited about Inside Out just because I have at least seen a preview that has already changed my preconceived notions of the movie being bad and I’m now looking forward to being proved more wrong about Inside Out. I’m still waiting to see a preview or a more detailed story outline that could prove me wrong about the Good Dinosaur.

Also, the Good Dinosaur’s plot seems a little weird for me (but that’s normal for Pixar to cover weird). Maybe my opinion will change whenever a preview comes out.

It doesn’t help that I’ve been mildly skeptical (less enthusiastic) about Pixar movies since Wall-e came out. That movie disappointed me when I saw it in theaters, but it has now grown on me.
