Did you see LOU? The new Pixar short. It potentially changes the theory about where the toys get their energy from…
Cinemark XD sucks, Alamo Drafthouse is where it’s at. Speaking of the Alamo Drafthouse, they’ve pretty much solved the need to go back in time to see old movies in theater, at least the one that you all mentioned, they are always running old movies there, I recently saw Seven Samurai in a clean 35mm cut there. Really, what’s lost to time is some movies from the 50’s that had props and actors in the audience mixed in with the movies.
Bridget is a really cool person. Like Sam, I also watched Batman in theaters when I was 6.
There’s an ‘Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’ in the Mission in the bay area. Its the best movie theater I’ve been to in San Fran.
Your podcast is a lot of fun and constantly keeps me smiling. I love how everyone has their niche of movies that they love and are experts on. But each of you also have your gap of knowledge of movies that you haven’t seen but aren’t afraid to share. It makes me feel better about never having scene ‘The God Father’.
I also wouldn’t overthink how much you go on tangents, I feel like that’s sometimes my favorite part and I think you could make an entire episode out of that. just call it ‘tangents’. One person describes a movie, the next person describes a theory they have about that movie, the next person applies the same theory to another movie and so on and so fourth. It could be like a fun game.
For some reason, I am still waiting for the completed ebook of the Pixar Detective
Here are my suggestions for Part-Time Characters: I think you should do more Bridget’s Science Corner. I also think Kayla should come on to the podcast every so often. And last but not least, we need to have an episode where Sam does only one impression for the whole entire episode!
Q&A: Could this: https://youtu.be/Fq9drEYDmOU be Maria’s favorite video of the year? Of the decade?
First of all, I’m kind of disappointed nobody tried saying Wall-E and hope the robot voice came up. I think you guys should give Bridget her science corner. I also think it’s fine when you guys go on tangents. Some of my favorite episodes are the longest episodes. One last thing, I think there should be a segment where Sam talks about what’s on his mind. On second thought, maybe What’s Going On With Adonis should come back. I love it when you make Adonis uncomfortable.
