Better late than never. In this super late episode of Now Conspiring, we dive into Ridley Scott’s franchise and discuss what made it so great and whine about all the questions that are still unanswered, even after watching Alien: Covenant.
Before our science fiction rant, we talk about real science in our very first Bridget’s Science Corner! It is quite a treat with a great reaction track provided by our Sam Noland.
Question of the Week: What do you think of the Alien franchise and its influence on Sci-Fi movies?
Survey: Don’t forget to put in your two cents for our podcast name change. Here are the options. Let us know your favorite one in the comment section.

Great Days by Joakim Karud
SIDE NOTES: Jenny had to leave at some point during the show, which is why she suddenly doesn’t have any opinions about anything we talked about but we later added her outro so you don’t forget how freaking great Jenny is. As if you’d forget…
I have never seen any movies from the Alien franchise, but I probably will see them soon. I love Bridget’s Science Corner! Those science discoveries were astounding! Sam, your impressions continue to impress me, and my vote is still with The Voice-Over! Here’s a Kiss, Marry, Kill for you (forgive me if you guys have already done this one). Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Ian McKellen. Oh hey JERRY, What are you going to complain about now?
This Maria lady is really an exceptional host here, she keeps discussion flowing really well and in an entertaining manner. I liked the question she posed asking if the mystery is better than the explained, I think that could be delved into more.
Wait….so if we paint a cloak with vantablack……is it going to be the void equivalent of the invisibility cloak?
The Patrick warburton was amazing as the kronk and the lemony snicket (idk any other roles he’s played lol)

Totally agree, better late than never for Alien Covenant! Can’t wait for the rant and to hear what Bridget’s got on real science. Speaking of digging up useful info, sometimes I need a good tool to help, like an Email Extractor for finding contacts. Anyway, back to xenomorphs!
