The Happytime Murders Review – Cinemaholics

happytime

I was out of town for this week’s episode of Cinemaholics, but my regular cohost Will Ashton filled in hosting duties to review The Happytime Murders along with special guests Matt Serafini and Chris Sheridan. The trio also did an early sneak peek review of Searching and dove into some film and TV news at the start of the show.

I’l be back this weekend for our full review of Searching, which should be a contentious one. In the meantime, we’re still collecting your questions for our upcoming Q&A episode. Feel free to ask us anything movie-related or otherwise and we’ll add it to the list.

  1. Hey Cinefriends, love the show and love your format. I’ve been listening since almost the very beginning and have just gotten around to commenting. First, I want to say that Will did a great job hosting this week! It was definitely a different vibe, but it worked and I’m now more interested than ever in checking out the It Ain’t Ogre show.

My question for you Cinemaholics: what 2017 movie would you vote for “Best Popular Movie” the Oscars has put out?

Thanks and keep on keeping on.

    • Hey Trent! Thanks for the kind words on my hosting and thanks for your question!

  2. The Who Framed Roger Rabbit comparison is very interesting. I don’t even like that film all that much but WOW does it feel like a true masterpiece in comparison. Also, I have mad respect for Matt’s puppet muppet knowledge. Chris was a great guest, he should come back on.

  3. I haven’t listened to the whole episode yet, but this was a fun change of pace. Willl, you did a fine job.

  4. Thanks Remy! I appreciate it.

  5. The information was easily understood by me. The subject has kept my interest so well while I’ve been reading geometry dash lite.
