Dunkirk and Christopher Nolan’s Directorial Style — Part-Time Characters

It is our first episode as Part-Time Characters! For this episode, we focus on one director, Christopher Nolan, his style and his latest film, Dunkirk.

Before that, Adonis joins us to geek out about all the things announced at San Diego Comicon. From Stranger Things trailer to Marvel’s horrible new series Inhumans, Adonis takes us through all the latest announcements.

Afterwards, we talk about Christopher Nolan and defend our favorite movie directed by him. Then Sam and Maria talk for quite a while about watching Dunkirk in 70mm and on IMAX. They discuss the movie’s score, sound production and the great perfomances by actors like Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Cillian Murphy.

  1. I like the website’s new format a lot!

    • Thanks. It’s been a work in progress, but aside from the new aesthetic, it should lead to faster loading times and everything feeling more organized and easy to find.

  2. Christopher Nolan is the brand name in Hollywood and my favorite director. I just want to meet this director once in my life. Thanks for the article.
