Hey podcast friends, we have an awesome episode this week with a review of The Nice Guys and the Louis C.K. show, Horace and Pete.
More importantly (in my opinion), we have a movie news trivia session via the Now Conspiring Game Show. And each of us argues a movie we think should be considered one of the greatest movies of all time, even though it probably isn’t already.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Each of us pitched a film we think should be considered amongst the greatest films of all time, but currently aren’t. Which of our movies do you agree with, and what is a movie YOU think should be in the conversation of all-time masterpieces?

Bridget, I like you and I didn’t want to do this, but I feel like a have a duty to the world so here it is: everyone knows that his name is actually Benadryl Caucusmore. I mean, Buttonhole Canefrogswill would be so upset to learn that you messed up his name – Beadyeyes Cottonjump. Honestly.
Kayla, I think you were a great judge – I don’t think I would have fared any better. I mean, I might have made an Andy Signore reference here and there (“This is tough”), but I think that’s about it.
I can’t comment on Sam’s choice, as I too didn’t watch it, but I feel Jon made the stronger argument about Snow White’s influence on the industry. Personally though, the Martian will always have a special place in my heart.
Lastly, Stephen Hawking gets my vote. For Science!
My vote is still for Gilbert. Also I thought it was funny that while you were talking about Jerry Seinfeld I found out he is coming to my city for a show.
I’m still voting for Mr. Godfried but I do want to ask why the hate on Amy Schumer?
I haven’t seen any of the three picks, but I’m tied between Bridget and Jon in terms of arguments. As for my choice, I know this movie is very recent, but I still would have chosen it: Mad Max Fury Road. The film takes your breath away and doesn’t give it back to you until the end. Everything about it just keeps your heart pounding, the score, the colors, the characters, the action sequences, and the very simple yet powerful themes scattered throughout. I love that a film with such dark-themes can still be so colorful and humorous, and that it shows men and women working together (yes I am a feminist and proud of it) as equals. Though simple, it is amazing, just like all of you. ; )
