  1. If the Academy was made up of regular moviegoers, then we would have an enormously different Oscar, with enormously different headlines.

  2. My favorite nominee is Mad Max: Fury Road, but I’m totally cool with The Big Short winning Best Picture (in the wake of its recent PGA victory) or even The Revenant.

Honestly, anything but Bridge Of Spies (solid film, if rather stale and passionless) would be a fine winner by me. Here’s my personal ranking of the Best Picture nominees and how I’d rank them if I had a ballot:
    1.) Mad Max: Fury Road
    2.) The Big Short
    3.) The Revenant
    4.) The Martian
    5.) Room
    6.) Spotlight
    7.) Brooklyn
    8.) Bridge Of Spies

  3. Thank you very much for making fun of my top 20 movies I also told you to take off the Aristocats hump everything down a number and put labyrinth as number 4. Thank for making me seem like a fool. Don was put in the tense of reading it in a obi wan Kanobi voice. Thank you for embarrassing me. I really appreciate it. All of you. I knew I was a valued commenter. Damn it.

    • They poke fun at everyone, including each other. Relax, bro.

      • Oh ok I didn’t realize sorry for being dumb. Random Blogger is my brother he listens all the time and says he was just playing along.

  4. P1XRK1NG has a point. You humiliated him in front of public. You should give those movies a chance.

  5. Thank you Random Blogger. I’m sorry it’s just that I grew up with these movies I love them and here they are sitting in some cafe with a hell lot of background noise making fun of my favorite films I am sorry. Please explain why you make fun of them and also why you regard them as being children’s films.

    • We are posting this comment together and we take it all back. Random Blogger knew you guys were just messing around and posted that comment because I dint know you were poking fun and made him. Anyways disregard my comments from this week.

  6. I have a few choice words for White Boy Mike. I know I can be insensitive sometimes, but you didn’t have to call me out to every dedicated listener. And by the way, since you were wondering, I learned all those words from my uncle in Mississippi, and you didn’t even hear the really bad ones. I just want to grab you by the ear and—–

  7. Why is my comment not showing up? I’ve posted it twice and I can’t see it.

  8. Sam although I love racist jokes I never mean them. When are you going back on the Cast?

    • When/if they ask me to come back on.

      • That must be a very strained if. (Wink wink) 🙂

  9. Hey guys I have a few questions. What are your top 5 Pixar films, what are your top 5 Disney films, and what are your top 5 DreamWorks films. Finally which do you like better Pixar, Disney, or DreamWorks?

  10. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, The Martian was my favorite movie of 2015. So, of course, I want it to win best picture. However, Brooklyn now holds a special place in my heart after learning that the main character Eilis’s story of coming to America was nearly identical to my great-grandmother’s, and as a result, I would really love to see that win best picture. Had I seen more than just three of the movies on the list, I could have a better gauge as to what I truly want to win, but based on these three movies (Brooklyn, The Martian, and Mad Max: Fury Road) I’d have to say Brooklyn. Not because it was inherently better than the Martian or I enjoyed it more, but because it deserves recognition more than the other movies

  11. Shaun the Sheep was ‘OK’? Have you watched it, then?

  12. No one listen to my comments except for the one pertaining to Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks. I was stupid and couldn’t tell you were joking around so I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad. Just don’t read those comments. Thank you. Also I’m curious to hear your favorite Pixar, DreamWorks, and Pixar films. It’s sure to be interesting. Please don’t read this comment over the air either. Thank you again.

  13. I apologize for the earlier aggression towards White Boy Mike. Let me redeem myself:

Hello, conspiracy chemists! I’d like to begin by recommending a website to anyone who, like myself, is trying to catch up on all of the 2015 movies they didn’t see. I have to be careful how I write this, because it might delete the comment, but it is hdmovie, the number fourteen, and a domain of dot net, with dot being a period. It has a vast selection of cinema, all in high definition for your viewing pleasure. In more unnessecary news, I think my well of Netflix recommendations has run dry for the time being. More on that later. Farewell, and remember to keep clowns to the left of you and jokers to the right.

    • Or you could rent them and not steal movies

  14. How did you get your loading circle for each of your pages it’s pretty cool.

  15. I think Jon’s avoiding my comments since I mentioned Shaun the Sheep. I’d be genuinely interested to hear his thoughts on it – and all of yours, as well.

    • For ‘Anonymous’ read ‘The Third Man’. I need to remember to put my username in! 😆

  16. Is nobody going to talk about how Kick Ass 3 was snubbed? Best director, best actor, best supporting actress, and of course, best picture. Unbelievable. I guess Spotlight should win. It probably will.
