Alright Ladies and Germs, I have something to tell you. When I ranked my three space movies, I was trying to rank them from worst to best, but the numbers didn’t show up in the comment. So, the Martian was actually my favorite and Interstellar was my least favorite. I thought the Martian was freaking epic, and Interstellar…was not. But, in more philosophical news, my last movie. It’s a real toss up between Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, and It’s a Wonderful Life. I would probably give the slight edge to Shawshank, despite only being my second favorite movie ever, because I want my story to end the same way it ends for Andy and Red. Buuut, Pulp Fiction is literally the only movie I like more than Shawshank, so I would go with that in the end just to see all of my favorite scenes one last time. On an unrelated note, Pulp Fiction is my Netflix recommendation this week. Also, being on the podcast would not be unlike The Martian. Freaking epic. Farewell, and remember not to start any forest fires.

I had a few extra thoughts I thought I would share with you. First, I loved Maria’s comment likening The Last Airbender to a Hot Pocket. I thought she really channeled Jim Gaffigan there, in the best way possible. I was also glad to hear that Jon is a fan of Chris Stuckmann, and I was wondering if he was also a fan of Jeremy Jahns, The Flick Pick, or the Schmoes. And finally, I think now is as good a time as any to announce the synopsis of my new movie, The Good Adonisaur. The premise is Adonis watching The Last Airbender while watching a live Nickelback show and eating stale popcorn and drinking warm soda, on top of the fact that the world is ending, no one will read his Kick-Ass 3 script, and he is in New Jersey. You heard it here first, folks. Nickelback is the New Jersey of music. Good day.

I’m going to have to say Kickass. I simply ADORE it.
My “Last Meal Movie” would be The Imitation Game, it is a beautiful movie and it would both remind me of the terrible things I would be gladly giving away and give me that great feeling of nostalgia, kind of like when you see Toy Story 3, for all the amazing things in life. It would make me leave calmly and happily.
And, since you asked what were our “Last Meal Movie”, if your memories were wiped of every movie you’ve seen, what would be the first movie you would re-watch?

Also, answering my own question, the movie I would first re-watch is Inception, it would wonderfully re-introduce me to the wonderful art of Cinema.

It would have to be Life is Beautiful from 1997, reminding me that how terrible things may actually be I can still always put on a cheerful face and hope for the best
I would have to go with The Fault in Our Stars as my last movie. It is such a touching and sweet movie and I could just imagine the stars in my head as I wait for my fate. Or if not I would pick Scream because I love horror movies.
I think it would be Kick Ass 3 because any other movie will make me sad that I’m leaving this world, unless I watch Kick Ass 3. Then I would want to die.
Right? Because it’s just the perfect movie. So after you watch it, you’ll feel complete and ready to RISE TO THE HEAVENS!
Ok well I was about to comment The Fault in Our Stars but I see Amy beat me to it. So I would choose Kick Ass 3 but Daniel decided to go Shia Labeouf free this week and choose that movie! So for the same of not being repetitive I am going and not commit a crime that will put me on death row. That way I will stay alive to see the new Star Wars trilogy as well as all the great movies that are to come.
My “Last Meal Movie” would definitely be “The Shawshank Redemption”. Why?
Reason 1: It’s one of my all-time favorite movies.
Reason 2: Some parts are so deep, they somehow, prepare me to die.
Reason 3: Morgan Freeman.
