  1. Divergent for me, some of the action sequences look cool but the story just isn’t really interesting and it lacks the compelling side to it that The Hunger Games has and the intrigue of the Maze Runner imo, the idea for Divergent is interesting but it doesn’t quite make a good story.

  2. I wish I knew the answer to that question, but the Dystopian Franchise has too many books and too few adaptations for me to get an honest answer.

  3. Heres the problem with Harry Potter. How do i put this? They suck. I hated the movies, books were boring, its over rated. Im not kidding and i am not sorry.

    • I don’t think you get what “overrated” means. It’s fine if you don’t like the books or movies, but that doesn’t mean other people like them “too much.”

  4. Is this guy for reals? How did you not like Harry Potter?

  5. Anyway I think Mortal Instruments City of Bones. It was terrible. #KickAss3Will NeverDie

    • The movie i agree was horrible but the books were pretty good, i am just dreading the tv show that comes out on the 22nd.

  6. How do you not like Harry Potter? Its not “over rated” or boring. That guy better be kidding. #KickAss3WillNeverDie

  7. Mortal instruments and Percy Jackson. They both have really creative worlds and compelling storylines, but sadly there just was not as much support (budget, advertising, cast, hype) behind them as others. Which is depressing for me because yes they would have made a better book to movie adaption than the let down that the Divergent storyline was.

  8. for me, it’s Harry Potter.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Harry Potter books. But the movies were a letdown. They left out some things that were at least semi-important to the plot, and while the magic was cool, it didn’t really get the story across.
I say this at the risk of offending someone. Sorry if I did.

  9. Well, I don’t know why I’m still thinking that Percy Jackson movie the lightning thief and sea of monsters are lack of something from the books *or from my imagination of the books. Is it just me or there should be more to offer?

  10. I know it’s not necessarily dystopian, but I wanted to mention Narnia because the books are so awesome and cover the birth and death of a nation and have mice with swords. But, more importantly, I would like to ship Jon and Adonis to create Ajonis Gonzroni the 1st. Also, in regards to my Jurassic World jab, I was just trying to get a laugh, which is all I ever hope to do. Stay thirsty, my friends.

  11. Wow all this hate on Harry Potter have me all sad and stuff.

    • Take comfort from the fact that you (most likely) love it.

    • So you do like something thats NOT Shia Labeouf.

  12. I liked the Divergent book series, for the most part, but was super disappointed in the movies. There was so much that they glossed over that they easily could have put into the movies (case in point, Tris and Four’s budding relationship… Are we really supposed to believe that they all of a sudden really liked each other? Also, what was so wrong with only allowing the top 10 candidates (I have already forgotten the actual word used) become members of the faction? Isn’t that supposed to play a huge part in the final book?).

  13. Percy Jackson was terrible, I absolutely hate it. It mixed the story-lines together and added stuff from the last book to the first and took stuff from the first and second and have yet to bring it up at all or even foreshadow it in anyway. TOTAL LETDOWN

  14. Also in Maze Runner we have yet to see Thomas and Tess’ psychic connection.
