Comic-Con 2015 Roundup (Podcast)

comic-con

This week on the Now Conspiring podcast, I’m joined by Adonis Gonzalez, Kayla Savage, and Maria Garcia as we cover the best news and announcements coming out of this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego.

Unfortunately, we recorded the podcast just before the trailers for Batman v SupermanDeadpool, and Suicide Squad, so we don’t cover any of those big moments. Still, we cover a ton of relevant news for you guys to dig your teeth into. It’s basically like you’re really there. Or your ears, at least.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Is the movie industry in its worst state ever right now?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments, which we may read on next week’s show! And be sure to rate our show on iTunes and/or Stitcher, where you can also download this episode. Or just Tweet us! @NowConspiring

Our Song of the Week that you’ll hear at the top of the show is “Youth” by Fronteers. Enjoy!

    • That would have been nice, but it’s too difficult getting everyone together for a recording. Plus, we all had things to do the rest of the weekend, and editing the podcast takes some time. That said, we’ll definitely cover what we missed next week!

  1. Is the movie industry in its worst? You may need to be more specific. From an Originality standpoint, yes it is. Anything else, I don’t know.

  2. I sorta agree with Maria, Hollywood is making all these remakes and cash grabbers, but Jon is right. All these good movies like Boyhood and Birdman, all these Oscar movies are original and great movies. Unfortunately Oscar movies are only noticed once the Oscars tell us “Hey! These movies exist!” So I don’t think it’s at its worse, but it could be better.

    • Sergio if Kick Assembly 3 were more likeable than Shia Aaron Taylor Johnson wouldn’t have died in Avengers 2.

      • I think it’s Kick Ass 3 Daniel.

  3. I think Hollywood Movies are both better and worse, when watching movies like Mad Max and Birdman it’s better, then you watch Godzilla and The Legend of Hercules.

  4. This question is ridiculous. How can the movie industry be in New Jersey?
