Hey everyone! Welcome to The Pixar Detective, a serial novel I put together based on the Pixar Theory. The following is a fictional story that explains the theory that all of the Pixar movies are connected and exist within the same universe, using original characters and artwork. The story answers a lot of questions you may have about this theory, but through its own ongoing narrative.
The story originally launched in April, and since then we’ve finished Part 1 and Part 2!

PREVIOUSLY, ON THE PIXAR DETECTIVE!
Our heroes are still separated in time during their long search for the missing Mary. Stevin and Cara, the granddaughter of Mr. Incredible, are in the distant future alongside their past nemesis-turned-ally: Agent Willem (and his team, of course).
Their next move is to infiltrate the BnL headquarters in the monster-dominated future, where their friends Wallaby, Mr. Sumner, Sadie, and Logan are being detained. And with Cara’s newly discovered abilities to move through time, they finally have what they need to reunite with their allies.
But will Cara be able to use this new power? Does it even exist?

Wallaby is pregnant ?
Nope, he’s just in an unflattering position. I’ll admit that “Orange is the New Black” crossed my mind when envisioning the prison scenes.
Hello! I talked about chapters in my spinoff last time, so noe it is time to talk about my characters! Coming later. (I am coming home from school now)
OK, let’s talk characters. Let’s talk with the trio, as well as other characters who may appear later on
Alex Morstown is the main character of my spinoff. He is straight to the point and mostly curious at times. When he begins his journey during the zombie crisis, he begins to feel a strange bond with the two travelers, mostly Shelia. He meets a lot of hallucinations from various people from ‘the man in the suit’ to the Frozen Fire Figure, with many others. Little will he know that he is going to unlock a great destiny.
Shelia Skylett does look like Logan from The Pixar Detective, but that is all that is common with the two. She is a really kind and mostly sensitive girl who is not afraid to show her talents. She is one of the best gymnastics people ever and great at karate, kung fu, and other fighting arts, making her extremely athletic. Later on, she might develop a love interest in Alex. In the Monster part of the pilot, she is going to reveal her origin story (she is an orphan, along with Welles), and is shown to have an allegiance to Oozma Kappa.
Welles Pickett is Shelia’s brother who knows several arts of magic. He is not really a nice person to be with as he often beats people with his spells when he gets angry, but cares for his sister and would do anything to protect her. He does have the personality of a secret agent, with his outfits and desire for code names. In the BnL-Animal War Chapter, Welles is going to have his own backstory, which might be violent at times, which may or may not be as a result of his allegiance to Roar Omega Roar, the Kappa’s biggest rivals.
Rack is a mysterious officer of a ship who ordered the kidnapping of the trio, and forces Alex to tell his adventures. He is not going to appear much in the beginning, but as the chapters continue, he would get a major part.
Lyndon Johnson is Alex’s best friend who is really talkative at times. He does appear in part 1 of the pilot, but will appear more in the Interstellar Heroes part, along with Alex’s mother.
That is all the main characters in my spinoff (I am actually writing this and may publish it on Wattpad, I just need an account) I will tell you more updated versions of my chapters in a later date.
How do you pronounce Shelia? The “e” specifically.

There are also supporting characters based on characters from certain movies or are actually in those movies, just so you know.

What twists everyone got. I never knew that the supers will turn evil, nor did I expect about Cara’s new powers of time travel. Is Wallaby really pregnant? Will Shelby really be ready for them (Did he see any of this coming). Definitely something that will hook me up for next week!
PS I noticed that the 2319 threat has been ignored since getting lost in time and had started a whole new one, I hope that gets fixed later on.
My new title suggestions are “The Kidnapping” and “New Team:New Threats”
Yikes, the Wallaby is pregnant rumor is really taking off. No, he’s not pregnant 😉 Just needs to lose a few pounds.
As for the 2319 situation, I wouldn’t count that part of the story out. Don’t forget that Stevin’s dad is involved with that. The key thing to remember is that the situation is intertwined with Pixar University, which is still a big presence in the story.
…………… Wallaby DOES need to lose weight. Someone should’ve said something.
PS How did Cara get her powers again? I might’ve not gotten that part.
Cara always had these powers, just as her cousin can use fireballs. It is just that they are triggered by emotions and she always has kept them at bay and worked mostly by intellect.
Cara had her time traveling powers all along? And she was reclusive about them for emotional purposes? This is confusing, I want to know Cara’s backstory on her life, her powers, and her family.
You should reread Part 2 when I finish the ebook. I sprinkle in a lot of small moments that describe why Cara is the way she is, and there will certainly be more of that to come.
If Wallaby was pregnant, would be a great twist in the plot . Loving guy has feelings for Stevin ? And Sadie by Logan ?

Also, It might mean that Cara is in love with Stevin. Also, Logan and Sadie might be a lesbian couple (Sorry, I need to say it) but I don’t think that is possible because they are currently brainwashed by BnL.

I’m glad I only have to wait another week to read the conclusion, but kind of sad it has to end.
You have done a great job with the story so far, and Kayla has done great with the artwork.
I did think of two name suggestions for part 2:
Time Waits for no Man (or No One if you want to make it gender neutral)
It’s Showtime (Mr. Incredible Quote)
I like the last one more because it seems (to me anyway) Steven and his friends are finally getting ready to make progress after being held back for so long. And next week’s chapter is the final “act” for this part.
(Captain)JackSparrow’s suggestion from the chapter 17 comments is a great name. It was “Lost in Time.”
I think the “It’s Showtime” idea, while awesome, would be just a little too close to being outright plagiarism. And hey, I know it’s a little sad that Part 2 is ending, but remember that Part 3 is just around the corner!
My suggestion for the title of Part 2: “The Rise of BnL”
My spinoff would better clarify the exact origins of BnL, and how it rose in the first place. (BnL in this story only applies to Forthbright’s attempt to change history).
Rise of the corporation of the Buy of the large?
I don’t think it is the corporation itself, but rather Forthbright’s attempt to perfect it, its rise is never exactly explained much. The rise might be hinted at my spinoff, but its origins and extra details in their war will definitely be explained in some way in Chapters 3 and 4.
Great chapter! I have a few questions. Do all toys know that they are built by BnL and that they are built to gather child energy? Does that go for Andy’s toys as well? Or could it be that Woody, Buzz and the rest aren’t aware of this, but they follow their “directive” anyways because it’s in their programming? Also is being a magician the same as having powers like a super? Why is it that Wallaby can open doors but Stevin can’t? I really like how you bring it all together!
Something bad happened to my spinoff chapters, my computer cannot open any of the documents due to unknown circumstances, meaning that I may need to either start over with the spinoff, or cancel the whole thing or forget about it.

It’s not dead yet. I do have one idea on how to save it. I need to wait until Monday to do it though when I am at school. I still believe the spinoff will happen. If the plan fails, then I may start the whole thing over, delaying it further.
I don’t know how you are saving these files now, but maybe you could use a flash drive as a backup or maybe even Dropbox. Dropbox is free and you can access it from PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. iOS and Android need an app, though. On PC and Mac you can either install the application or access it from a web browser.
It’s just good to keep files like this in more than one place.
I DID use a flash drive, and it is my main source. I do have one idea on how to access it again.
I can reach my spinoff chapters again! I have a new copy of them in my flash drive and the spinoff is good again!
